Teardrops on My Drum
Teardrops on My Drum is the autobiographical novel of Jack Robinson's boyhood in Liverpool, UK, in the 1930s. It is the story of the sexual adventures of a young gay boy growing up in poverty. It begins with Eddie, a man who has sex with him in a cinema, and who turns out to be a police officer. They have a consensual loving relationship which is followed by sexual encounters with older men, mature teenagers, and boys.
