Kite Music

During the Vietnam War, a young teacher from America goes to Thailand on a teacher-exchange program. Although he is initially not impressed with the country, he eventually forms a love relationship with a young Thai boy. In the Buddhist culture of that day such a relationship was accepted, and this opens the teacher to a whole new way of understanding life. This is a beautiful, thoughtful and well written story.
